Immanuel Baptist Church Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Enrichment Ministry at Immanuel is a very active ministry and we hope you will join in our efforts!  Download our current newsletter here.

Our Mission Statement is as follows:

The mission of Women’s Ministry is to assist each woman at Immanuel Baptist Church in developing a closer relationship with God by equipping them to be growing, worshipping, serving, and witnessing disciples of Jesus Christ. We will support the Pastors, Deacons, Staff and Leadership Team in any way possible. We will reach out to serve the church members and surrounding community with a benevolent hand.

We have a thriving structure in place with wonderful Division Leaders to oversee their particular areas such as:

MINISTRY LEADERS: M.I.S.S.E.S. Structure

Mission Projects Leader – Open Arms Children’s Home, Cell Phones for Battered Women, Pregnancy Resource Center, etc.
Interest Group Leader–Military Families, Caring for Aging Parents, Secret Sisters, etc.
Special Studies Leader – Organizes focused Bible studies and finds teachers. Informs IBC of area conferences.
Service Projects Leader– Sewing Lap Quilts, Cancer Patient Hats, Pastoral Care, Hospital Visits, Welcome Bags, etc.
Events Leader –Produces various events for special emphasis, supports divisions.
Support Team Leaders –TWO-FOLD: One Leader gathers/maintains names and contact info for Volunteers to help with projects. Another Leader heads up Publications encompassing all print, electronic and digital media

We hope you will seek out your place of involvement within the WEM in the form of Bible Studies, Service Projects, Interest Groups, Mission Projects and Volunteerism. There are Bible Studies offered in the morning hours, afternoon hours and evening hours; Sunday afternoons at 5PM offer a few as well.

You will find Interest Surveys on the WEM table in the side hallway of the vestibule. You will be able to mark your interests and hobbies and then return it to us so that we can offer the activities that women wish to see. Then just drop it back off at the same table. If you have a particular interest for a project or you possess a particular talent that you can share with others, please contact us right away!  Below are our active ministry teams and service areas:
